Deus Vobiscum...May God Be With You
This sacrament gathers together the many places the Lord is our bread as we live our lives. We all need food for living, our physical health, our emotional health, our intellectual health and our spiritual health will suffer without food. When the community gathers for the weekly or daily celebration of the Eucharist it is seeking fresh nourishment for the journey of life.
This nourishment is provided through the Liturgy being well prepared, the celebrate putting some work into the celebration he is going to preside over. The music, the way the scripture readings are proclaimed and the comfort of the church all go to make the ingredients for a meaningful liturgy where heart mind and soul are renewed and refreshed for the day or week ahead.
