Personal Development. An eight week course compiled by Dr. Tony Humphreys, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, will commence on Tue Feb 7th, 8 -10.15p.m.  Venue: Dunogue, Carrickmacross.
The course includes - understanding the following: The Self, Relationships, Children, Behaviour, Feelings/Emotions. Also, how we communicate and how to build Self-Esteem.  No matter what sphere of life a person is in, whether it is having a career outside the home or rearing children in the home, all areas involve individuals in communication with each other. A True Note on a Slack String A day of exploration of the Self through the poetry of Patrick Kavanagh is planned at the Patrick Kavanagh Centre, in the poet’s native village of Inniskeen Sat 3rd Mar 10am to 4pm. Dr Reamonn O Donnchadha, psychotherapist, university lecturer and author, will explore with participants aspects of psychology the Self, and personal change. The facilitator is a Jungian therapist and author of The Confident Child, and Be Confident.  He will weave the psychology of C G Jung and the poetry of Patrick Kavanagh into a meaningful fabric of personal meaning.
